Inspection Stickers
All vehicles are required to have a current registration
and proof of insurance. The operator of the vehicle
presented for inspection must have a valid driver’s
license, with the proper license class and
endorsements required for that vehicle (IE
motorcycle, bus, heavyweight truck, etc). Not having
these documents will result in a failed inspection.
Every vehicle must be tested by conducting a road
test on the approved brake test area at the inspection
station. The inspector will enter the vehicle and drive
it to determine if the brakes are operating correctly.
All vehicle inspectors are officially certified as a
registered motor vehicle inspector.
